OUR WELCOME ABOARD at SFO Galveston WAS TOTALLY AWESOME !!!! Many, many thanks to the officers and personnel of USCG Station Galveston, Air Station Houston, CGC Manowar and CGC Skipjack for all their contributions to this FABULOUS event !!!!! 52 of us, including entering cadets, entering preps, and new and returning family members came to Station Galveston. We divided into two groups; this video primarily follows Group 2. Can you spot our 1C cadet on duty and our 2C cadet who was a guest? | Please remember the families of our HH-65 Dolphin crew from Air Station Barbers Point who were lost in a crash off Oahu on Sept. 4, 2008: Cmdr. Thomas Nelson, 42, of Staten Island, NY (USCGA'88); Lt. Cmdr. Andrew Wischmeier, 44, of Fort Lauderdale, FL; Rescue swimmer Petty Officer 1st Class David Skimin, 38, of San Bernardino, CA; flight mechanic Petty Officer 2nd Class Joshua Nichols, 27, of Gloucester, VA.
